Draw & Guess · 2–14 players
How to play Draw & Guess
One person draws. Everyone else tries to name it. Draw & Guess turns quick sketches into a live guessing race on each player’s phone.
How to play
- The artist privately chooses one of three words, then draws on the shared canvas.
- Everyone else types guesses before time runs out. Scoring and letter hints follow the host’s settings.
- One full round gives every starting player a drawing turn. Finish with scores and drawing awards.
Start with the outline. Recognizable shapes usually beat tiny details.
Before you start
Bring 2–14 players and a phone, tablet or computer for each person. Players draw with touch or a pointer and type their guesses; no paper is needed.
Estimated time for six players with default settings: About 10 min. Discussion and host settings can change this.

Voice and conversation
No voice chat is needed. The artist draws and everyone else types guesses.
Example round
For a practice word like Kite, the artist sketches a diamond, then a string and a tail. Guesses such as Balloon and Kite show how one clear extra shape can make the drawing recognizable.
A useful tip
Build the silhouette first, then add the one detail that separates it from similar objects.
A drawing and guessing game for mixed skill levels
You do not need polished artwork to make a useful clue. Pick the most recognizable outline, then add one detail that separates your word from similar things. Guessers can keep trying in the typed answer field.
Keep the answer secret while you draw. Friends on a call can react together, but saying the word aloud would spoil the guessing race. Each starting player gets a turn as artist during a full round.
