Word Grid · 1–14 players
How to play Word Grid
Spot a word, trace the letters, find another. Everyone races on the same randomized grid, with a bonus for words nobody else finds.
How to play
- Drag through neighboring letters without using a tile twice in one word.
- Submit valid words before the shared timer ends. The host sets minimum length and scoring.
- Unique words score double. Compare the round results and chase the highest final score.
Try a 4×4 board to start. Bigger boards offer more routes to explore.
Word Grid supports English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French and German. Each uses its own dictionary and letter distribution.
Before you start
Play alone or with up to 14 people. Everyone uses their own screen and searches the same timed grid. The host can change the board size, word length and scoring before play.
Estimated time for six players with default settings: About 3 min. Discussion and host settings can change this.

Voice and conversation
No voice chat is needed. Players trace and submit words on their own screens.
Example round
On an English practice grid, C, A and T touch in order. Trace CAT without repeating a tile. If the word meets the chosen minimum length and dictionary, it can score; a word only you submit scores double.
A useful tip
Look for a new starting tile when you get stuck instead of retracing the same route.
Play a word hunt online on one shared grid
Word Grid is a timed hunt through neighboring letters. Move horizontally, vertically or diagonally, and turn corners as you trace. A tile can appear only once in the same word; you can use it again in your next word.
Everyone receives the same board. Search a quieter corner of the grid when obvious words run out: a valid word nobody else submits scores double. Start with the 4×4 board and choose the dictionary language before playing.
