How to play Bomb Squad

One bomb. Every voice counts. Work on your own module while helping another player with their instructions. Everyone plays at once.

How to play

  1. The host chooses difficulty, timer and strikes. Every phone gets a module and another module’s intel.
  2. Ask the group for instructions and readings. Work simultaneously, then submit your module’s answer.
  3. Disarm every module before the timer or strikes run out. Run it back for a completely new bomb.

Use the same room or a voice call. Keep sharing your intel after your module is disarmed.

Voice and conversation

Talk together in person or on a voice call. Each player holds instructions for another module.

Example round

One player asks who has the instructions for their wire module, then reads its label and fixed readings aloud. The matching intel holder checks those details and explains the action while the other players work on their own modules.

A useful tip

Repeat the label and readings clearly, and keep helping after your own module is disarmed.

A co-op bomb defusal game where everyone has a job

Bomb Squad suits a group that wants to solve a puzzle together. Each player has a module to operate and instructions someone else needs, so everyone can contribute at the same time.

Start by saying your module label and asking who has its intel. Share exact readings, repeat the proposed action, and keep helping after your own module is finished. Remote groups need a separate voice call.
